Role Overview
The Sales Operations Manager acts as the central engine within the sales organization,
ensuring efficient operational processes, data-driven decision-making, and seamless
communication across commercial channels. Serving as a crucial cross-functional link, this role bridges the gap between Logistics, the Dealer Network, and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to optimize supply chain alignment, vehicle allocation, and sales execution. This position supports both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations, playing a critical part in enabling the commercial team to achieve its volume and growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cross-Functional Coordination & Operations
- Serve as the primary strategic and operational liaison connecting the Dealer Network, and Regional Sales Managers to streamline the vehicle supply chain.
- Coordinate vehicle delivery timelines and availability updates from Logistics to ensure Regional Sales Managers and dealers have real-time visibility.
- Align commercial priorities with operational capabilities to prevent bottlenecks and optimize vehicle flow.
2. Dealer Communication & Order Management
- Manage all primary communication with dealers regarding order placement, processing, validation, and fulfillment.
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely handling of dealer orders within internal systems.
- Act as the dedicated point of contact for operational dealer inquiries, resolving issues with solutions-oriented approach.
3. Dealer Inventory Management
- Monitor and manage dealer stock levels, pipeline velocity, and inventory turnover.
- Identify risks (e.g., overstocking, aging inventory) and commercial opportunities in distribution.
- Support the optimized allocation of stock across the dealer network based on market demand and Regional Sales Manager insights.
4. Sales Performance Monitoring & Analytics
- Monitor and track dealer sales performance against established commercial targets and KPIs.
- Provide regular, data-driven updates and actionable performance insights to Regional Sales Managers to assist in network management.
- Proactively identify performance gaps and trends to support the development of corrective commercial strategies.
5. Executive Support & Reporting
- Prepare, refine, and deliver high-quality operational and sales reports for senior leadership.
- Develop clear, impactful, executive-level PowerPoint presentations to communicate business performance and market trends.
- Support strategic steering initiatives and conduct ad-hoc business analysis as requested by the Director Sales BeNeLux.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Order Processing Efficiency: Accuracy and timeliness of order intake, processing, and delivery coordination.
- Network Lead Times: Response times to dealer inquiries and order resolution satisfaction scores.
- Reporting Rigor: Quality, completeness, and punctuality of sales operations reports and executive presentations.
- Inventory Health: Balance of stock distribution across the network and optimization of vehicle turn-rates.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel: Highly proficient in complex data analysis, formulas, and modeling.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint: Skilled in creating structured, executive-ready presentations.
- Experience with modern CRM and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI, SAP, or similar).
Your Profile
- Experience: 3 years of progressive experience in sales operations, business analytics, or a similar role within the automotive or retail network industries.
- Industry Knowledge: Direct experience working alongside auto dealer networks or franchise models is considered a strong advantage.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Dutch and English with excellent professional proficiency in both spoken and written communication. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
