People Operations Part Time Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organized and systems-savvy People Operations professional to support a temporary maternity leave coverage. This role is focused on delivering a seamless employee experience across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, HRIS management, and HR reporting.
This is a part-time role (25 hours per week, 5 hours per day Monday–Friday). On-site attendance is required Tuesday through Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own HRIS and payroll system administration (ADP required; Employee Navigator preferred)
- Maintain accurate employee and contractor records, including compensation and status changes
- Support semi-monthly payroll processing, audits, and freelance hour tracking
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including system setup, documentation, and coordination with IT and Finance
- Coordinate employee benefits administration and liaise with external vendors as needed
- Assist with leave of absence tracking and coordination, including parental leave
- Support immigration documentation tracking and coordination (as needed)
- Generate recurring HR reports and ad hoc data reporting
Qualifications:
- Experience managing payroll, HRIS, and benefits administration (ADP required)
- Familiarity with Employee Navigator strongly preferred
- Understanding of U.S. leave policies, including parental leave
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
