Temporary contract – 6 months (1st June 2026 till 31st Jan 2027)
As the Senior Brand Manager (Maternity Cover – 6 months), you will take the lead on the local marketing strategy for Eucerin in the Netherlands. You will drive the full marketing mix: pricing, promotions, advertising, placement, and innovation to deliver key KPIs, net sales, and market share targets. You will translate global and regional strategies into a tailored annual Product Marketing Plan for the Dutch market, ensuring strong in-market execution.
In this interim role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to engage our three core target groups: consumers, dermatologists, and pharmacy assistants. Your contribution will be essential in safeguarding continuity, accelerating brand growth, and maintaining operational excellence.
You will report directly to the Marketing Manager Derma BNL and you will be responsible for leading and coaching a newly appointed Junior Brand Manager to ensure smooth onboarding, performance, and development throughout the maternity cover period.
Main responsibilities:
Brand Management:
- Oversee day-to-day brand management across all Eucerin categories
- Lead product launches and relaunches, including forecasting, analysis, supply alignment, stakeholder updates, and optimization of communication and claims in line with global guidance
Business Steering:
- Execute the local brand strategy and strengthen Eucerin’s positioning in the NL market
- Monitor performance, competition, and media to drive market share and net sales targets
- Develop, steer, and execute the annual marketing plan (ATL, BTL, media) and local drive plan
- Manage the marketing budget and track performance versus targets
- Identify risks and opportunities and take corrective or accelerative actions
- Lead cross-functional alignment on forecasting, budgeting, and business performance
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Medical, S&CM, iComm and regional teams to ensure consistent brand execution
Media & Communications:
- Localize and develop assets, ensuring strong and high-quality execution
- Optimize media spend and advocate for local needs with regional stakeholders and iComm Team
Pricing:
- Develop consumer pricing strategies with Sales and Controlling
- Contribute to retail pricing strategies aligned with brand and regional priorities
Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and develop the newly appointed Junior Brand Manager, ensuring smooth onboarding and strong delivery
- Motivate the wider team, provide feedback, drive and develop the team to achieve excellent performance and targets by providing continuous feedback and evaluating performance
Your Profile
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant brand / product / marketing experience, preferably in FMCG, Derma or Pharmacy
- People management experience is strongly preferred, especially in coaching or developing junior team members
Relevant Competencies:
- Strong analytical, strategic, and creative skills
- Process-driven with the ability to proactively identify and act on market opportunities
- Able to translate data into actionable recommendations
- Commercial, confident, and persuasive in stakeholder alignment
- Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills
- Accurate, organized, and detail-oriented
- A collaborative team player
- Fluent Dutch and English language skills are a must
