JOIN OUR AMSTERAM TEAM AS A MANAGER, MARKETING & COMMUNICATION
You will strengthen PLMA’s brand and exposure through integrated marketing, media, and digital initiatives. The role ensures consistent messaging and visual identity across all platforms.Your responsibilities include developing campaigns, managing media and digital outreach, and supporting communications for trade shows and programmes. Having a passion for retail and/or private label is a big plus.
What You Will Do:
- Ensure consistent brand positioning across all marketing channels
- Translate strategic initiatives into integrated campaigns, content, and materials aligned with PLMA’s identity
- Manage digital marketing, advertising, website content, and social media (LinkedIn), in collaboration with the Content Manager and Programmes Manager
- Expand media reach and maintain online and in-person relationships with international and trade press, acting as a key contact together with the Director, Trade and Retail Relations
- Develop press and marketing materials, coordinate interviews, and manage the Press Lounge at the annual trade show
- Support marketing for trade shows, events, and programmes
- Monitor performance using analytics and manage campaign planning, scheduling, and reporting
- Report to the Managing Director, Programmes
What We Need:
- Strategic Communication: Translates organisational goals into clear and consistent messages
- Digital & Media: Experience with social media, digital marketing, and media relations
- Collaboration: Works well with different teams and in an international environment
- Project Management: Handles multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders with a structured approach
- Analytical: Uses data to monitor performance and improve activities
- Flexible: Adapts easily to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, ideally in an association, trade, or B2B environment. Proven track record in media relations, digital marketing, and campaign development
- Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional language proficiency is a big plus
- Technical Proficiency:Proficiency with digital tools such as CMS platforms, email marketing systems, and analytics dashboards (e.g., Google Analytics, LinkedIn analytics)
