Job purpose:
provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. You will be preparing financial statements and reporting in compliance with accounting principles. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial status.
Position:
The Junior Accountant reports directly to Financial Manager InsTech Netherlands.
Job responsibilities:
· Prepare daily accounting records, including Payables (AP) and Receivables (AR), daily bank statements,
reimbursement incl. business trips and other employee’s expenses.
· Assistance with payroll administration
· GL adjustment support
· Preparation of the registers (sales/purchase registers, VAT register) according to the accounts??
· Cooperation in settlement of VAT tax and other tax
· Cooperation in keeping a register and records of fixed assets
· Reconciliation of liabilities and receivables, accounts balances and Analysis of accounts
· Monitoring and analysis of the costs of projects
· Participation in activities related to the accounting end of the month, quarter and year
· Cooperation in statutory audit and internal audit
· Other tasks from manager.

· Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
· Follow the law and regulations, especially GDPR;
· Follow the information security policy;
· Report the information security incidents and data breaches to the Security Officer conform to the process.
· Follow up legislation, regulations and policies of the ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001

Knowledge/skills and experience:
· Bachelor degree in finance or accounting or similar;
· Min 2 years accounting work experience, preferably in international company;
· Experience of project costing;
· Familiar with Accounting software system, preferred Navision;
· Willing to take challenge and team work.
· Good English communication in both spoken and written skill;
· Attention to details and accuracy
· Deadline-driven, planning and organizing;
· Good knowledge of English spoken and written.
General skills/competences
· Communications: mandatory English, prefered Dutch - Good expression skills
· Written communication: understandable, to the point and flawless in English
· Basic knowledge digital apps: well known to MS Office, as well webapplications and online portals

Salary and FTE
Salary conform CAO Technical Wholesale. Minimum workweek 32-38 hours (parttime/fulltime),
Function level
Junior, 0-3 years’ experience, is supervised by senior.
