This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and treasury activities within a global engineering company that supports large-scale energy and industrial projects.
Description
Your potential employer
Our client is a global leading supplier of heat transfer equipment with nearly a century of experience, widely recognised for quality and innovation. With in-house R&D, the company develops new technologies that support the energy transition. The company specialises in waste heat recovery solutions. It delivers efficient equipment and services for power and heat generation across a wide range of industries and applications, from design and engineering through to after-market services. Professionals around the world work on large-scale energy projects, particularly in environments where turbines operate and significant heat is released. The company ensures this heat is not lost but recovered and reused, improving energy efficiency, sustainability and reliability.
The company was acquired by an international investment firm specialised in restructuring and scaling businesses with strong potential. Prior to that, the company had been part of a large multinational engineering company for many years. Since the acquisition, the company has been operating as an independent organisation, while benefiting from its shareholder's expertise, financial strength and international network to accelerate its growth strategy.
With approximately 500 employees and revenues of around EUR 220 million, the company is well positioned for further expansion. Under the leadership of its executive team, the organisation is strongly focused on growth, with the ambition to contribute globally to the energy transition. The company positions itself as a technology leader in areas such as Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs), turbine exhaust systems and industrial heat exchangers. To strengthen this position, the company is investing in sustainable energy solutions that address the increasing demand for energy efficiency, including technologies related to CO₂ reduction, hydrogen and geothermal energy. At the same time, the company is expanding its international service footprint, further developing its global maintenance and aftermarket capabilities to support customers throughout the lifecycle of their assets and ensure optimal performance.
The company has supplied nearly 1,000 steam generators across six continents, representing a total equivalent energy capacity that could power 200 million households. The organisation supports industrial energy projects globally, focusing on the design, construction and maintenance of installations that convert residual heat into usable energy, particularly in gas and steam turbine environments.
