The media team is responsible for all paid media channels and work closely with Category, Communications, and eCommerce teams to exceed our business objectives.
About The Role
This role is responsible for defining and executing innovative and efficient media strategies in the Benelux and Nordics market. The role incorporates traditional media, digital and performance media as well as social media, branded content, and influencer collaborations.
You will assess and align media strategies and tactics presented by our media agency. You will work closely with our media agency, category teams and the eCommerce to ensure that plans are understood, aligned and brand KPIs are achieved while hitting our brand and commercial targets.
Underpinning all the above– you will need a growth mindset, hands on attitude and a curiosity to deliver results smarter.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to
Media Strategy and Planning
- Lead the media strategy and tactics ensuring alignment across channels for campaigns and product launches.
- Collaborate closely with the category teams on campaign strategy and audience insights to align on media brief for agency.
- Analyse media investments, related KPI’s and optimize channel mix
- Act as the primary operational contact for media agency. Manage day to day operations. Develop, activate, and optimize robust through-the-funnel media plans that meet or exceed clearly defined KPIs, from awareness to conversion.
- Ensure that activations reflect past performance insights, local media consumption, competitive insights, and trends.
- Ensure Media plans and budgets are up to date, aligned and communicated to all relevant parties in Dyson and media agency.
- Challenge performance utilising regular reporting, proactive data insights and industry best practice.
Digital Marketing planning and optimization
- Deliver to the ambitious paid media targets of the direct business. Be accountable for traffic, conversion and revenue targets for all paid media channels and plans.
- Work closely with our eCommerce manager, Performance manager, Media Manager and media agency to build monthly forecasts and traffic plans which will allow the business to meet its targets across online direct channels.
- Daily review and communication of media performance with the aim of optimizing budgets, channels, and creatives, where possible.
- Explore, adopt, and implement new technology platforms and campaigns that unlock new opportunities that deliver engagement and efficiency at scale.
- Work with the e-Commerce team to create holistic journeys across paid and owned spaces.
- Develop test, learn, and share best practices to maximise revenue/efficiency. Ensure insights are shared and understood by relevant stakeholders.

About You
You will be able to identify opportunities, gaps, and areas for efficiencies in the business, and provide valuable insights that will ultimately help the reach our Hair care targets.
You can spot trends, understand why they are happening, and how they might affect the business.
Skills & Previous Experience
- Qualification in Marketing, experience in Media (5 years)
- Demonstrated experience in online or offline marketing role, client side or agency
- Solid knowledge of all media channels, tactics, and their role
- Passionate about digital & the opportunities it brings to drive commercial success for a business.
- Proficient in English and Dutch and/or French.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to project-manage from conception through implementation.
- Ability to analyse and translate data-based findings into clear, relevant, and actionable insights.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and drive projects forward.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
