About The Role

As Senior Brand Manager, you play a key role in shaping the growth strategy for our appetizer category, with a strong focus on retail marketing across Central Europe. You will drive the development of the marketing mix for innovation projects, ensuring that new product concepts translate into strong brand propositions and successful market launches.

Working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, media, finance and channel activation, you will lead projects from concept development through to launch, ensuring our innovations deliver both consumer impact and commercial performance.

You’ll also contribute to developing the brand strategy and portfolio segmentation, while creating the assets, content and launch toolkits needed to activate innovations across channels.

Your Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and execution of the appetizer brand strategy and portfolio segmentation together with the Marketing Manager.
Lead innovation mix development from concept stage to launch, including product proposition, packaging, business cases and channel activation.
Build channel-specific launch toolkits for retail.
Work closely with local marketing teams, and R&D to develop & refine new product propositions.
Collaborate with media, digital marketing and activation teams to support innovative launches.
Manage relationships with advertising, design and packaging agencies.
Coordinate consumer and market research projects to validate concepts and optimize product propositions.
Ensure quality and readiness of innovations until launch.
Track and support improvements in innovation performance and market share.

About You

We are looking for a marketing professional who combines strategic thinking with strong project execution.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
5+ years of marketing experience within an FMCG environment
Strong experience in brand management and innovation development
Experience working with retail channels and market data
Strong analytical and project management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken)

The role is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, with occasional travel to other McCain locations for tastings, R&D sessions, and project meetings. You will collaborate with team members based at our headquarters in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, France. You will meet your team in person once every two weeks.
