At Disney Corporate, we are seeking an Associate HR Business Partner (Project Hire) to join our dynamic team. This role is integral in supporting Enterprise Technology & Data (ET&D), which is undergoing an exciting transformation. In this role you will work with world-class leaders to help drive strategic HR initiatives, enabling the greatest storytellers in the world to create memorable experiences for millions of families globally.
Responsibilities
In this role you will develop higher-level knowledge and skills, solve a range of problems, and analyze possible solutions with moderate guidance and direction. This role is crucial in shaping the employee experience and driving change within the organization.
- Provide consultation to clients by partnering on HR processes, procedures, and initiatives.
- Support key talent processes including performance calibrations, talent review, succession planning, leadership development, and talent assessment.
- Administer HR policies and procedures through various employee communications.
- Assist with Workday transactions and HRIS changes.
- Work closely with HR team, managers, and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and retention.
- Participate in special projects and handle correspondence with clients, including executives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of human resources generalist or related experience in progressively responsible roles.
- Experience and exposure to various HR facets including organization development, employee relations, talent acquisition, learning & development, and compensation.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and effectively interact with all organizational levels in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent consulting and conflict management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong use of judgment to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend multiple solutions.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and function independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience directly supporting clients.
- Workday and SAP experience.
- Project management experience.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $87,200 to $106,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
