Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on and entrepreneurial Brand Manager to build and develop our robotics brand in the Netherlands from the ground up.
This role combines brand management and marketing strategy execution, with a strong focus on market exploration, target definition, and demand generation in a new and evolving sector.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the brand positioning, identifying target audiences, and creating impactful marketing strategies, working closely with Sales and global teams to drive market entry and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Market Development
- Develop and implement local marketing strategies aligned with global business objectives
- Conduct in-depth market research and customer analysis to define target segments and identify growth opportunities
- Explore and validate target audiences, use cases, and value propositions in the robotics and automation space
- Continuously refine brand positioning based on market feedback and business needs
Brand Building & Positioning
- Build and establish a strong, differentiated brand identity from scratch in the local market
- Define and adapt brand messaging, tone of voice, and positioning for different customer segments
- Ensure consistency across all channels while allowing flexibility for local market needs
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
- Design and execute end-to-end marketing strategies, from awareness to lead generation
- Plan and manage integrated campaigns (digital, offline, events, PR)
- Identify and develop co-branding, partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities
- Test and optimize different marketing approaches to identify the most effective channels
Content & Creative Development
- Lead the creation of high-impact marketing content tailored to different audiences and stages of the funnel
- Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to develop creative assets
- Ensure alignment between content, brand identity, and commercial objectives
Events & Market Activation
- Plan and execute participation in industry events, trade shows, and brand activations
- Support product launches and local market entry initiatives
- Use events as a tool for market validation and lead generation
Commercial & Sales Alignment
- Work closely with Sales teams to support lead generation and pipeline development
- Align marketing initiatives with evolving commercial strategies
- Support partners and system integrators (SIs) with marketing tools and co-marketing activities
Performance & Optimization
- Manage local marketing budget and ensure efficient resource allocation
- Track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance and ROI
- Use data and insights to continuously refine strategy and execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or growth marketing
- Experience in building or scaling a brand, product, or market from early stages is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, demand generation, and content strategy
- Experience in B2B, industrial, tech, or startup environments is a strong plus
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong advantage
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to test and iterate
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
