Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing financial reports in accordance with local accounting standards, ensuring that all accounting, reporting, taxation, and other related financial matters meet internal and external audit requirements.
- Responsible for researching and monitoring changes in the tax-related laws and regulations of the German and European regions in a timely manner; accurately analyse the tax implications on the local entities.
- Cooperate with HQ's finance/tax team; participate in tax planning for local entities and lead the implementation of tax planning strategy.
- Responsible for tax registration, tax filing, tax invoice issuance and archive as well as applying for local tax refund/tax incentives for local entities; Support local tax audits and communicate with local tax authorities.
- Responsible for finding local auditors, negotiating audit fees, providing relevant materials for auditing to ensure timely issuance of audit reports.
- Responsible for local employee T&E payment and handling employee reimbursement Q&A, oversea account payable accounting and payment related compliance review; and support overseas management report analysis and data reconciliation for payment process.
- Responsible for identifying and controlling key financial control points in business processes, ensuring efficient and compliant financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above, majoring in accounting, tax, economics and other related fields.
- Above 6 years of finance/tax work experience at large entities or accounting firms in Netherlands
- Proficient English communication and writing skills, excellent team coordination and communication skills, strong problem-solving skills.
- English as working language, while fluent verbal/written in Chinese is preferred, it is beneficial due to frequent collaboration with the HQ team in China.
- Accounting/tax management experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Proficient in using SAP systems is preferred.
