The Role
- Provide expert cybersecurity support to the Information Assurance Program for maritime information systems.
- Manage information system documentation in accordance with each phase of the system engineering process.
- Support creation and update of security categorization and control selection documents.
- Assist in developing and maintaining inventory of information system interconnections and reviewing agreements.
- Help record security weaknesses and develop Draft Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M's).
- Assist in security incident response, risk mitigation, and compliance reporting.
What You'll Need
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with expertise in maritime/vessel and IT/OT security.
- Prior US Navy or Coastguard Maritime Cyber Security Experience is highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of NIST RMF, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), and federal cybersecurity policies.
- Experience with Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) and Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM).
- Proven ability to lead cybersecurity assessments, compliance audits, and risk management activities.
- Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.
