Position Summary
As our IT Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting and improving the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and business applications. You will provide technical support to end-users, manage IT equipment and user accounts, and ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network services.
You will support small IT projects and workstreams within larger initiatives, working closely with different business functions to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement system improvements, support CRM and DMS applications, assist with system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), and contribute to the successful delivery of IT projects that enhance business efficiency.
This role requires a proactive, service-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and the ability to balance day-to-day IT support with project coordination and continuous system improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and software applications.
- Manage user accounts, including setting up new accounts, resetting passwords, and configuring access permissions.
- Monitor and maintain IT equipment inventory, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement, improve and support new technologies and upgrades.
- Provide training and support to employees on IT-related issues and best practices.
- Assist with IT-related projects as needed.
Requirements
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Previous IT role work experience, (in the automotive industry is preferable).
- Experience with help desk software and ticketing systems.
- Basic project management skills and business analyst skills.
- Better with knowledge of CRM and DMS applications in automotive industry.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with end-users of varying technical expertise.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluent in English (Chinese is a big plus)

Working Conditions
- Location: Amsterdam On-site work (5 days per week)
