Desktop Support Engineer

An international organisation is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to support its Eindhoven office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global company that offers strong career development, ongoing training, and a clear progression path.
You will be responsible for providing onsite and remote technical support across desktop, server, network, and infrastructure environments. This is a hybrid role, with occasional travel to other international locations as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and user lifecycle management.
- Manage network, endpoint, and Microsoft server configurations.
- Provide troubleshooting, break/fix support, and preventative maintenance.
- Support cybersecurity controls, patch management, and ITSM change processes.
- Maintain and support NVR/camera systems, badge access systems, MDM platforms, and AV equipment.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Deliver high-quality support to end users both onsite and remotely.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in IT operations, desktop support, or systems administration.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server environments, infrastructure, and IT security best practices.
- Experience working within ITSM and change control processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally when required.
- Professional English language skills; Dutch is advantageous but not essential.
