Summary
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Global Accounts Payable (AP) team. The AP Senior Business Analyst will contribute to the strategic vision of AP by bringing innovation and creativity, along with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, to help design best‑in‑class AP systems and processes.
This role will support the overall Accounts Payable function with a focus on global, transformational changes to simplify and streamline operations and strengthen risk management processes, while ensuring compliance with key controls and local rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Evolution of Global AP Systems and Processes
- Contribute to the evolution of global AP systems and processes.
- Analyse AP data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assess existing KPIs and recommend enhancements or new KPIs to drive impactful process changes; implement dashboards to capture key trends.
- Partner cross‑functionally (e.g., Strategic Operations, PMO, FinTech) to assess and recommend improvements to AP systems and tools.
- Support the exploration, selection, implementation, and testing of new AP systems/tools or upgrades.
- Partner with Strategic Operations and AP leaders to evaluate metrics and KPIs, investigate the root cause of inefficiencies or bottlenecks, and recommend creative solutions.
- Propose enhancements within risk review processes to effectively address higher‑risk events and develop mitigation strategies where necessary, collaborating with internal teams such as Supplier Operations, Treasury, Internal Audit, and Information Security.
- Lead or support efforts to streamline data, such as error codes, resulting from gaps in workflows or changes in requirements, and identify methods to adapt workflows/systems to new requirements.
Project Management
- Lead or participate in global AP‑related projects, contributing to timely progress toward project gaccountsoals.
- Represent AP on project teams to convey regional AP requirements, manage timelines, and oversee testing progress through completion.
- Document workflows and narratives and collaborate with regional AP teams to explain impact, gather questions, and incorporate feedback.
- Share key decisions, project status, issues, and next steps with impacted team members and leaders at different levels (e.g., AP managers, senior directors, CAO of Core Finance).
Cross‑Functional Partnerships
- Collaborate with AP, BP, FinTech, and other teams to address AP‑related issues and co‑create long‑term solutions that support AP evolution.
- Collaborate with other AP Business Analysts and regional specialists to brainstorm ideas and contribute to innovative solutions addressing process challenges.
- Support or lead other ongoing projects related to our global Accounts Payable processes and function as needed.
Other Activities
- Provide backup support to AP leaders as needed.
- Provide training and support to the AP team on system functionalities and effective practices.
- Stay informed about AP‑related practices and developments.
- Help ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Skills And Competencies
Must‑Have
- 8 or more years of relevant accounts payable, risk management, and P2P experience.
- Advanced operational knowledge of accoanalyseunts payable processes and workflows in a global context.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and bring forward innovative and creative ideas; uses inquiry and advocacy to work through barriers.
- Strong ability to analyse complex data to identify trends and discrepancies and develop solutions to improve processes.
- Proficiency with data visualisation tools and techniques to present findings clearly and accessibly.
- Experience contributing to multiple projects in a dynamic, global environment with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of cross‑functional teams.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present reports and recommendations clearly in written and spoken formats.
- Ability to build and maintain strong cross‑functional partnerships with stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong understanding of applicable global and regional regulatory and compliance rules and regulations.

- Curiosity and motivation to help transform operations through new systems, new technology (e.g., AI), and process automation and improvement.
- Familiarity with data analysis and business intelligence tools.
