Job description

This position provides exposure to international investments, real estate, corporate structures, and strategic projects in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment:

(1) Accounting & Financial Reporting

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
Review bookkeeping records prepared internally and by external service providers.
Assist with preparation of B/S, P/L, C/F and Budget vs Actual reporting
Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors

(2) Tax & Compliance

Support corporate tax, VAT, and local compliance activities
Coordinate with external tax advisors and accounting firms
Track filing deadlines and regulatory requirements
Maintain compliance calendars and supporting documentation

(3) Corporate Administration

Manage corporate records and statutory documentation
Support entity maintenance for holding companies and SPV’s
Coordinate with notaries, corporate service providers, banks, and advisors

(4) Investment & Real Estate Support

Assist in financial analysis relating to investment and real estate activities
Monitor cash balances, financing arrangements, and capital movements
Prepare management reports and investment-related analysis

(5) Budgeting & Treasury Support

Support annual budgeting and forecasting exercises
Track operating expenses and project expenditures
Assist with treasury administration and banking matters
Monitor foreign exchange exposure and funding requirements

(6) Project Management

Coordinate projects involving finance, tax, legal, and external advisors
Prepare materials for management meetings and decision-making
Drive follow-up actions and maintain project trackers

(7) Data & Process Improvement

Improve reporting quality and operational efficiency
Assist in implementing finance systems, controls, and workflow improvements
Develop management reporting dashboards and KPI tracking

Job requirements

In order to qualify for this versatile and challenging position, required are at least the following criteria:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Tax (Bachelor, Master), or similar
Experience in Big4, and/or corporate finance, accounting, tax advisory, family office, investment management
Proficient with MS Office
Fluency in English
Japanese and Dutch language skills will be a plus
Exposure to real estate investments, understanding of Dutch corporate tax
Familiar with investment holding structures and SPV’s (preferably)
Entitled to work in the Netherlands
