Retail HRBP
The Retail HRBP serves as the primary HR business partner for an assigned group of District Managers and Store Leaders. This role provides proactive partnership across employee relations, performance management, talent development, compliance, leadership coaching, and organizational effectiveness. Working closely with the Senior Director, Global Talent Development & Retail HR, the Retail HRBP helps build high-performing teams while ensuring a consistent employee experience across the retail organization.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary HR partner for District Managers and Store Leaders.
- Support execution of regional business and talent strategies.
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on employee performance, team effectiveness, organizational change, and workforce planning.
- Partner with leaders to identify opportunities to improve retention, engagement, and productivity.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Manage employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
- Advise leaders on performance management, corrective action, and documentation.
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Escalate complex or high-risk matters to HR leadership as needed.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and practices.
Benefits & Leave Administration
- Serve as the primary regional resource for employee benefits questions and escalations.
- Manage employee leave processes including FMLA, ADA accommodations, state leave programs, disability leaves, and return-to-work coordination.
- Partner with external vendors to ensure timely and compliant leave administration.
- Educate leaders on leave management responsibilities and compliance requirements.
Talent Management
- Facilitate regional talent review discussions.
- Support succession planning and internal mobility initiatives.
- Coach leaders on development planning and promotion readiness.
- Partner with Talent Development on implementation of leadership programs and learning initiatives.
Employee Experience & Operations
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding activities within assigned region.
- Support employee lifecycle transactions and HR documentation.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and compliance requirements.
- Promote a positive and consistent employee experience.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Support implementation of new HR programs and initiatives.
- Identify potential areas of risk and recommend solutions.
The base salary range for this role is between $85,000 and $100,000. The relevant base salary will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications.
