Role Description
Suits Finance is strengthening its CFO services practice and seeks an experienced finance professional to operate at the intersection of financial expertise and strategic advisory.
In this role, you will go beyond reporting numbers by interpreting data, challenging assumptions, and providing guidance. You will work across a curated portfolio of e-commerce and digital businesses, each with a different financial model, and help owners understand:
- which areas are performing well;
- which areas are underperforming;
- where margins are being lost; and
- which decisions will improve profitability and growth?
This is a growth role. You will start as the analytical and strategic engine behind our client work, preparing the insights and recommendations that drive each session. Over time, and alongside our partners, you will take on a more visible, client-facing advisory position, leading discussions independently as your track record with our clients develops. You are someone who wants to grow into a trusted advisor, not someone who simply waits to be told what to analyse.
Qualifications
We welcome candidates with experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or Consultant, provided you can operate at, or grow into, a strategic advisory level.
You bring:
- At least five years of experience in finance.
- A completed master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MSc or equivalent).
- A strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and profitability drivers in e-commerce and digital business.
- The ability to recognise that different e-commerce models require different financial approaches, and the curiosity to master that range.
- The ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Confidence in client interactions and the willingness to grow into leading discussions independently.
- A proactive mindset: you not only report but also provide strategic advice.
- Fluent English; Dutch and/or Turkish are considered a plus but not required.
