Aux Talent is partnering with a rapidly growing, venture-backed AI startup to find a People Operations Manager to help build and scale the company's people infrastructure. This is the first dedicated People Operations hire and a unique opportunity to shape the employee experience from the ground up while supporting a high-performing, fast-growing team.
Reporting initially to the Chief of Staff and partnering closely with leadership, this person will own core people programs, HR operations, employee engagement initiatives, benefits administration, and people systems as the company continues to scale. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and excited to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Typical duties (but are not limited to): employee onboarding, performance review administration, engagement surveys, HRIS and people systems management, benefits administration, compliance support, employee communications, manager enablement, employee engagement programs, wiki/documentation ownership, promotions and organizational changes tracking, offboarding processes, and cross-functional people projects.
Requirements: 5+ years of People Operations, HR Operations, or People Program Management experience; experience building and improving scalable people processes; strong project management skills; experience managing HR systems and workflows (Rippling experience preferred); excellent communication skills; strong attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information; high emotional intelligence; ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Schedule: M-F in office, Full Time
Pay: 120-175K base + equity + comprehensive benefits
