We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Human Resources Manager to join a growing organization and play a key role in shaping its people strategy. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, this position will lead and support initiatives across talent management, employee relations, compliance, performance management, learning and development, and organizational growth. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience building and developing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This individual will bring a strategic mindset, challenge traditional approaches, and partner with leaders across the business to deliver innovative people solutions that drive engagement, performance, and long-term success.
Responsibilities:
• Serves as an HR point of contact for the Arlington office.
• Coach and guide leadership and employees on employee relations matters, conduct
internal investigations regarding workplace issues and provide guidance and
recommendations for a resolution.
• Advise on matters related to compliance and employment law.
• Manage employee onboarding and off-boarding.
• Protect our people and organization by supporting the creation of accessible HR policies
and procedures that are compliant with federal and local laws and enhance the company's culture.
• Support planning and implementation of company-wide HR initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures and best practices
• Manage the performance management process including performance reviews,
disciplinary documentation, and performance improvement plans.
• Lead HR team members and serve as a primary point of escalation.
Qualifications:
• HR experience: You have ten or more years of experience as an HR generalist and are
passionate about the role HR can play in an organization. You are excited to learn about
the newest and best practices and to help the organization craft a unique and progressive
employment brand. US and/or global SHRM/PHR HR certifications are a plus.
• HR systems/technology experience. You are an expert with modern ATS and HRIS
platforms. and are constantly thinking about how to simplify processes with technical
solutions. Greenhouse and/or ADP Workforce Now experience a plus.
• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented. You can manage several concurrent projects
at once, keeping track of the details involved with each and ensuring that nothing falls
through the cracks.
