We are seeking an experienced HRBP to join our team in a part-time capacity (approximately 16 hours per week). We're flexible on how those hours are structured and are open to finding a schedule that works well for both the individual and the business.
This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic guidance with operational oversight. You'll serve as a trusted partner to leadership, helping support a growing organization through integration efforts, benefits management, payroll oversight, and future HR systems initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Business Partnership
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to leadership.
- Advise on employee relations, HR best practices, and compliance considerations.
- Support the integration of a recently acquired company, including cultural alignment, onboarding processes, HR policies, and employee experience initiatives.
Benefits Strategy & Administration
- Oversee the company's benefits programs from a management and strategic perspective.
- Partner with brokers and vendors to evaluate benefit offerings, manage open enrollment processes, and identify competitive, cost-effective solutions.
- Stay informed on multi-state benefits requirements and employment-related regulations to help ensure compliance.
Payroll Oversight
- Provide oversight of payroll operations managed by an external provider.
- Review payroll processes, ensure accuracy, and serve as the internal point of contact for payroll-related matters.
- Experience with ADP is preferred.
HR Systems & Process Improvement
- Manage and optimize current HR processes and systems.
- Collaborate with leadership on evaluating and implementing a future HRIS solution.
- Support HR technology transitions, data migration efforts, and system integrations as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a standalone or HR leadership role.
- Strong working knowledge of employee benefits administration and open enrollment processes.
- Familiarity with employment and benefits requirements across multiple states.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or company integration efforts is highly preferred.
- Previous involvement with HRIS implementations, upgrades, or system integrations.
- Experience overseeing payroll processes; ADP experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a flexible, part-time environment.
