What To Expect
The IT Field Services Build Administrator – IT Operations, responsible for the buildout of the IT infrastructure and systems at all new and existing (network refresh) Tesla Retail locations. Retail locations include all Sales, Service, delivery and collision locations globally. This position(s) is for the Tesla EMEA geographical region comprising of Europe, Middle East and Africa. This role requires strong technical knowledge in the network (both LAN, WAN and WiFi), desktop, server and low voltage. A successful candidate will seamlessly blend technical experience, project management, exceptional interpersonal communication skills, and a commitment to drive implementations to a successful conclusion. The candidate is expected to be based in either the Netherlands or Norway and be fluent in both English and the local language. There will be frequent travel to Tesla’s field sites throughout EMEA.
What You'll Do
Deploy new Tesla Centers to lead and support installations of IT infrastructure and/or post-install upgrades as needed Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability in Tesla Centers Maintain security, redundancy strategies, and documentations Participate in the design and monitor remote systems, networks, telephony, and operational support systems Implement and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks. Proactively identify customer or site issues and address in advance of service disruptions. Ability to effectively manage, maintain and coordinate multiple critical and high-visibility projects simultaneously Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors and internal Tesla business customers Understanding project requirements and developing project plans to deliver on time through collaboration with different teams within Tesla Document and track project status through collaboration tools and ticketing systems Ensure design, install, and workmanship at each project adheres to Tesla standards Setup and run regular meetings with both internal and external parties for each deployment project
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Networking, Information Systems or equivalent training/experience Minimum of five years' experience with desktop, infrastructure, network, and software support Experience in building remote retail, service, manufacturing, or business office sites as part of an overall larger enterprise organization Ability to read and understand design and construction drawings and prepare network markups Ability to travel quickly and frequently Knowledge of backend Microsoft environments (Active Directory, Intune, SCCM, etc.) to support configuration, management, and troubleshooting Ability to assess and prioritize issues and effectively communicate corrective plans to stakeholders directly or via presentation Excellent understanding of Windows and Linux networking components including, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSI model, etc. Experience with the following: SCCM, MDM, AVAYA, Juniper, Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Ekahau, IR Touchscreens, Blue BeamPowerShell is a plus Excellent communications and documentation skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-growing team environment Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
