About the role
As IT Infrastructure Specialist you act as first point of contact for IT-related issues on site. You diagnose the issue, resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues. You support the users with Windows workstations and laptops, Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Office) and printers, scanners and peripherals. In case of complex issues, you escalate to second/third level support and follow through until resolution has been accomplished.
All incidents and solutions need to be documented in the ticket system.
Your Profile
- Minimum MBO-4 in IT or a related field, with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Solid knowledge of Windows Client OS and Microsoft 365
- Strong networking fundamentals: LAN, VLAN, WLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall/router concepts
- Experience with switch configuration and network segmentation
- Strong SAP/ERP and CRM system capability
- Clear communicator with non-technical users; structured, reliable, and thorough documentation habits
- Proactive and solution-oriented with a right-first-time mindset
- Fluent in Dutch and English; experience in production or laboratory environments is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- First point of contact for all IT issues: hardware, software, connectivity, M365, and peripherals
- Operate and maintain local LAN, WLAN, and VLAN infrastructure, including switch configuration and DNS/DHCP
- Provide IT support for LAN-connected laboratory and production equipment in a GxP-regulated environment
- Support and maintain local servers in coordination with central IT; monitor backups, patching, and access
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, network documentation, and ticketing records
