Job Summary
As a Finance Specialist, you will support SDLG’s financial operations across Europe and report directly
to the EU Finance Manager on a daily basis. You will ensure that the financial administration is accurate and up to date while supporting a wide range of financial activities within the organization. In this role, you will have a great deal of responsibility and work closely with international colleagues in a dynamic and fast-growing environment. As SDLG continues to expand throughout Europe, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the further growth and professionalization of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily finance operations across European entities
Assist in preparing financial statements, financial reporting, and management analysis
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Ensure accuracy of accounting records and compliance with internal procedures
Work closely with cross-functional and international teams
Experience in a supply chain, logistics, or international transport role
Requirements
Bachelor+ in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum 2+ years of relevant finance experience (Netherlands experience preferred)
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and closing processes
Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar) is an advantage
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Good command of English (written and spoken), Chinese language proficiency is mandatory please do not apply if you don't speak Chinese, Dutch language skills are a strong plus
Experience working in international companies is preferred
Professional certifications (CPA, CMA or equivalent) are a plus
