We are looking for an IT System & Network Administrator who thrives in a role with responsibility, variety, and impact. You’ll be the go-to person for everything related to our network, systems, security, and 2nd/3rd line support. If you enjoy deep technical troubleshooting, optimizing infrastructure, and working with technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, vSphere, LAN/WAN, VPN, and Firewalls, this is the perfect role for you.
As an experienced IT system and network administrator, you are the key figure in ensuring the continuity, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure.
The role focuses on network management, IT security, applications, and advanced support. Proactivity, problem-solving and technical ownership are essential.
What You Will Do:
- Network & Infrastructure: You will take an active role in maintaining and improving our core network environment, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers, VLANs, and network security components. By monitoring performance, planning upgrades, and optimizing configurations, you keep our infrastructure stable, secure, and ready for growth.
- 2nd and 3rd Line Support : Complex technical issues will come your way. You dive into system, network, and application-related incidents, identify root causes, document solutions, and ensure long-term stability. Your hands-on troubleshooting skills help drive continuous improvement across the IT environment.
- Security & Compliance: Security is a key part of your work. You help safeguard the environment with MFA, endpoint protection, patch management, MAC filtering, and other security tooling. You ensure compliance with group IT policies and contribute to a secure, well-governed infrastructure.
- Application Management: You install, configure, and maintain business-critical applications both on-premise and in the cloud. You also manage and optimize our virtual environment using VMware and vSphere, ensuring reliability and performance of the server landscape.
What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in System or Network Administration.
- Strong skills in managing and troubleshooting complex network environments.
- Solid experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, AD, M365/Exchange,Azure).
- A security-first mindset and hands-on experience with security tooling.
- Experience in 2nd and 3rd line support, preferably in an ITIL environment.
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and verbal.
- You have a driving licence category B.
Nice-to-Haves
- Certifications such as ITIL.
- Experience with monitoring tools and backup/recovery solutions.
