- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policies
- Oversee workers’ compensation processes, including documentation, claim tracking, and coordination with carriers
- Serve as a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing ongoing communication and follow-up
- Collaborate cross-functionally with payroll and leadership to ensure accurate time tracking and leave usage
- Utilize tracking tools (spreadsheets, systems) to monitor employee leave balances and activity
- Support broader HR initiatives and employee relations as needed

- Proven ability to manage highly detail-driven, compliance-heavy processes independently
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across hourly employees through executive leadership
- Professional presence, sound judgment, and willingness to take the time to ensure accuracy
- Someone who thrives in an onsite, team-oriented environment and enjoys staying closely connected to employees and managers
Team Structure & Environment
- Collaborative HR team with dedicated leadership support
- Clear processes in place with opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow within a structured environment
- Highly visible role with strong partnership across departments

- Robust wellness initiatives, employee events, and community involvement opportunities (including volunteer time off)
- Positive, mission-driven culture focused on employee engagement and internal growth
