Responsibilities:
As a 1st Line IT Support Analyst, you will act as the first point of contact for all IT-related queries, ensuring a high level of service and user satisfaction across the business.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing incoming IT support requests via Slack and ticketing systems
- Logging, categorising, prioritising, and resolving issues in line with SLAs
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues across desktops and laptops
- Supporting Microsoft 365 applications and user account administration
- Assisting with VPN, remote access, and connectivity issues
- Setting up equipment and access for new starters and managing leavers’ assets
- Maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to knowledge base improvements
- Identifying recurring issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills:
- Experience in a 1st Line IT Support or Service Desk environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Experience using ticketing systems such as Jira
- Exposure to Windows and/or macOS environments
- Understanding of Microsoft 365
