We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant/Coordinator to support daily HR operations in a fast-paced fashion environment. This role will assist with payroll, employee administration, and office coordination to ensure efficient internal operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support payroll processing, including timekeeping, data entry, and coordination with the payroll provider
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork and system setup
- Coordinate benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
- Support recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and candidate communication
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
- Assist with performance review tracking and HR reporting
- Provide general administrative support to the HR and leadership teams
- Manage office operations, including supplies, vendor coordination, and general workplace needs
- Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc projects as needed
Responsibilities
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, payroll, or administrative support (fashion or retail industry preferred)
- Basic knowledge of payroll processes and HR practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems (e.g., ADP) is a plus
Qualifications
- Experience in the fashion, apparel, or retail industry
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll and compliance requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
