We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant/Coordinator to support daily HR operations in a fast-paced fashion environment. This role will assist with payroll, employee administration, and office coordination to ensure efficient internal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support payroll processing, including timekeeping, data entry, and coordination with the payroll provider
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork and system setup
Coordinate benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
Support recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and candidate communication
Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
Assist with performance review tracking and HR reporting
Provide general administrative support to the HR and leadership teams
Manage office operations, including supplies, vendor coordination, and general workplace needs
Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc projects as needed

Responsibilities

1–3 years of experience in HR, payroll, or administrative support (fashion or retail industry preferred)
Basic knowledge of payroll processes and HR practices
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with HRIS or payroll systems (e.g., ADP) is a plus

Qualifications

Experience in the fashion, apparel, or retail industry
Familiarity with multi-state payroll and compliance requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
