Our client, a financial services firm, is seeking a HR Operations Manager / Generalist to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role reporting 5x per week to their office in Greenwich, CT.
The ideal candidate will engage directly with employees to provide excellent support across a wide array of HR practices. You’ll answer general policy, practice, and compensation and benefit questions for employees. You’ll also help with onboarding, development, and offboarding activities.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an initial point of contact for HR-related questions from employees.
- Maintain employee data in HRIS (BambooHR), including personal information, job changes, hiring, terminating, time tracking, benefits elections, and more.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to help manage all Benefits and 401k programs.
- Manage all aspects of onboarding process, coordination with hiring managers and new hires, onboarding tasks, conduct new hire orientations, and manage tasks in the HRIS.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless HR experience for employees.
- Help manage our community programs - and manage our summer internship program.
- Drive recruitment by working with hiring managers, engaging with agencies, managing the interview process, extending offers, and initiating background checks.
- Work with stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain HR procedures and processes.
- Develop a deep understanding of benefit packages to help select appropriate options.
- Complete special projects as needed.

- You exhibit outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and understand what exceptional customer service means to employees. You’re passionate about helping others thrive, but you’re not afraid to have difficult conversations when they are needed.
- You have a lot of thoughts about how AI can drive the strategic HRT agenda.
- You have at least 3 years of progressive HR experience – probably in a similarly-sized firm and ideally in the Alternative Investments (or wider Financial) sector.
