This is a unique opportunity for someone with a Big 4 / top-tier consultancy background, combined with experience in a tech scale-up environment, who is ready to step into a Head of Finance role with full ownership and a clear path to FD.

đź’Ľ The Role
As Head of Finance, you will own the entire finance domain:
🧠Strategic Finance & FP&A
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Translate data into actionable business insights
- Partner with leadership on growth, pricing, and investment decisions
- Build scalable financial models and KPI frameworks
đź“Š Accounting, Reporting & Control
- Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, and audit processes
- Ensure strong internal controls and data integrity
- Professionalize and scale the finance infrastructure
🌍 Tax & Compliance
- Manage tax structure, filings, and compliance
- Work with external advisors where needed
- Ensure readiness for international scaling
🤝 Business Partnering & Transactions
- Act as right hand to the CEO on financial topics
- Support fundraising, M&A, and investor reporting
- Engage with PE stakeholders (if applicable)
This is not a “manage from distance” role — you’ll be in the detail and in the strategy.
👤 Who we’re looking for
- Background in Big 4 (Audit / Deals / TAS) or top-tier consultancy
- ~5–8 years of experience
- Followed by experience in a tech company, scale-up, or Dutch growth business
(no large corporate profiles)
Experience across:
- Audit/Financial Consultancy
- Financial Control (accounting/reporting)
- FP&A / business partnering
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Comfortable owning both detail and big-picture strategy
- No team management required — ownership mindset is key
