We're looking for a talented individual to join our Shopping Centre Management (SCM) team as Marketing Manager for Westfield Mall of the Netherlands. Key Objectives
As Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in developing our customer experience and strengthening our brand within an international and collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with the on-site SCM team, the Head of Marketing for Northern Europe, fellow Marketing Managers across the region, and our digital and specialist marketing teams.
This role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery. You’ll support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives, create engaging content, and continuously optimise our activities to build interest and drive the Westfield brand forward
What you will be doing…
- Define a strategic market plan that takes into account customer expectations and strategy versus competition for Westfield Mall of the Netherlands.
- Take responsibility for the media agency strategy and purchases for the asset
- Communicate brand identity through media, events and digital platforms where you are managing the bought and owned channels, including media, website, app and social media.
- Collaboratively coordinates the plan with all internal and external stakeholders, including line management as well as retailers in the mall and ensures high engagement from all.
- Critically evaluate and provide a review of all in-centre marketing campaigns, measuring success and quality and sharing results with key stakeholders.
- Develop marketing intelligence on lifestyle trends and consumer patterns and share insights with other departments.
- Plan and execute major events and activations, as well as other projects that activate consumers in the centre.
- Work continuously with agencies to collect, produce and publish content in bought and owned channels.
- Collaborate closely with the Digital Team in order to ensure a smooth-running marketing plan, innovative initiatives and engaging marketing assets.
- Develop and communicate in our loyalty club, gather inspiration and themes for digital channels and plan publication according to timeline and in sync with the centre calendar
- Work closely with our in-house agency, Westfield Rise, to create possibilities for brands to activate themselves in our physical and digital environments.
- Create internal and external communication for the centre to attract positive attention and handle media outlet requests.
- Be responsible for the budget and budget optimisation for the Marketing projects.
What skills, experience, and knowledge will you need to be successful?
- 5-7 years of professional experience within Marketing, and you are comfortable working in a role that is both strategic and implementing.
- Enjoy identifying trends and opportunities to create new and exciting ways to reach our target groups
- An eye for detail and quality content with an interest in staying up-to-date on the latest trends in marketing.
- Experience of working with a driving interest in digital channels such as social media, web, app, CRM, marketing and PR;
- Good project management skills with a commercial drive and understanding of customer benefit.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
