Job Mission
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in driving the adoption of AI-driven, agent-based solutions within financial processes. You will deliver predictive and prescriptive insights that enable continuous process improvement and support high-quality decision-making across the organization.
You will actively contribute to the digital transformation of the Finance function by building AI and data science capabilities and inspiring the business on the potential of AI. This includes designing and deploying Agentic AI solutions that autonomously support and augment financial decision-making within clearly defined governance boundaries.
You will collaborate closely with analytics teams and data scientists across the organization to scale impact and share best practices.
Job Description
Within the Transformation & Digital Finance (TDF) organization, you will design, develop, and scale advanced analytics, machine learning, and Agentic AI solutions. These solutions go beyond traditional models by autonomously reasoning, planning, and acting within defined business and compliance constraints.
You will translate complex financial and business challenges into intelligent, data-driven agents that combine statistical modeling, machine learning, and rule-based reasoning to continuously optimize business processes and decision support.
In close collaboration with Finance domain experts, data analysts, IT, and other analytics teams, you will ensure that Agentic AI solutions are robust, explainable, compliant, and seamlessly embedded into daily business operations.
Education
- A technical Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Data Science, Econometrics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Technical Business Administration
Experience
- Proven experience in descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive modeling
- Strong ability to apply complex statistical methods to large datasets through machine learning
- Experience with, or strong interest in, Agentic AI concepts such as autonomous decision-making systems, AI agents, model and tool orchestration, and human-in-the-loop designs
- Experience leading analytics-driven transformations and embedding AI solutions into end-to-end business processes
- Experience deploying machine learning models within business process applications (e.g., SAP) is a strong advantage
- Hands-on experience with Python, R, Databricks, and Azure ML
