EMEA Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established manufacturing company in its search for an IT Support Engineer (2nd Line, 3rd Line and IT Infrastructure) to bridge the gap between general support and specialized network management.
This dynamic, rapidly expanding, and unique business offers an IT professional the opportunity to take ownership, develop, and work independently, while collaborating closely with the business.
This role will suit an outgoing, proactive, and self-driven candidate with strong social skills and a technical mindset.
The main duties of the IT Support Engineer (2nd Line, 3rd Line and IT Infrastructure):
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues and ensure high-quality resolution and documentation
- Hold responsibility for creating and managing VLANs, configuring VPN connections, and overseeing WLC environments
- Implementing and maintaining security protocols
- Utilize TOPdesk to manage incidents, changes, and assets
- Work on process improvements in IT
The skills, experience, and qualifications required for the IT Support Engineer (2nd Line, 3rd Line and IT Infrastructure):
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role (IT Support, service desk focussing on 2nd and 3rd line support).
- Strong understanding of how IT Infrastructures work and experience liaising with technical third parties regarding Network issues.
- Proactive and people-first approach
- Experience with Office; experience with TOPdesk is advantageous
- Fluent English and Dutch.
- Proven expertise in managing virtual environments, specifically VMware and vSphere.
