Our Analytics Acceleration Area is growing fast to meet the demand for next-generation AI solutions. As a bank,our customers expect us to stay ahead—and we’re committed to leading the way. That’s why we’re looking for a Medior data scientists who combine technical excellence with adaptability, collaboration and a strong sense of ownership. The Responsible GenAI squad drives the development and implementation of Generative AI solutions that enable the bank to apply AI effectively in practice. These solutions enhance the customer journey, streamline data processing, answer internal staff queries, and generate insights and reports to facilitate workflows. To accelerate innovation, the team also develops APIs that help other teams build GenAI solutions faster and more efficiently.
As Medior Data Scientist, you will contribute to building, monitoring, and optimizing the performance of GenAI solutions across diverse use cases within the bank. You’ll be at the forefront of creating tools that tackle complex challenges, improve efficiency, and unlock new opportunities. Your work will involve exploring topics such as responsible GenAI, performance monitoring, red teaming, and evaluating GenAI models for fairness and bias.
Requirements
Technical skills and experience:
- You have at least 4 or more years of experience working as a Data Scientist or in a similar field
- You have strong programming skills (software engineering experience is a plus) and are proficient in Python
- You have a solid understanding of NLP and LLMs. Experience in building Generative AI applications is a strongly encouraged.
- You understand how to work with both discriminative and generative models and know when to apply each.
- You have experience with responsible GenAI topics such as bias detection, monitoring and performance evaluations
- Familiarity with Responsible AI principles, including fairness, transparency, explainability, and bias mitigation in generative AI systems.
- You have experience identifying underlying issues and opportunities across the ML development cycle for efficient development and testing.
- You have the ability to write clean and reusable code
- You are skilled in Git and CI/CD pipeline development.
- You have experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, and data lakes
- You have experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
- You have proficiency in working with APIs and are familiar with API gateways like Kong
- You have experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- You have experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, and vector databases)
- You have experience deploying, tuning, and monitoring models with MLOps/DevOps, ensuring services support high throughput workloads.
Soft Skills and Leadership Qualities:
- You have a passion for building and bringing to production clean, well-structured, maintainable and testable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills – able to simplify complex ideas and build trust across teams.
- You have experience of making sure components can be re-used and standardized to support scale
- You enjoy collaboration in cross functional squad (incl. Engineering, Product, Business colleague) as well as across squads and build connections with others
- You have experience driving tech projects, coaching others, sharing knowledge and implementing best practices
- You are curious by heart and experienced in collaboration with customers.
