IT Service Desk Support Analyst (2nd Line)

Amsterdam (Office-based with global team collaboration)

6 Month Fixed-Term Contract (strong possibility of extension)

We’re partnered with a global organisation looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Support Analyst (2nd Line) to join their team supporting users in their Amsterdam office and wider international workforce.

This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 2 years’ IT support experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and taking ownership of technical issues.

The Role

You’ll act as a key technical point of contact for both on-site and remote employees, playing a vital role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.

In this role, you will:

Provide 2nd line support across a range of hardware and software issues
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently, both remotely and in person
Support colleagues across local and global teams
Manage and prioritise multiple requests while maintaining a high level of service
Deliver clear, effective communication to users of all technical abilities

You’ll be working in a diverse and evolving technical environment, supporting both office-based and remote teams.

What They’re Looking For

This role requires someone who can hit the ground running and confidently operate at a 2nd line support level.

Key experience includes:

Recent hands-on experience supporting Windows 11, macOS, Google Workspace, and Active Directory environments
Strong understanding of device provisioning, system imaging, VPN connectivity, and core networking concepts, including wireless authentication (802.1x)
Solid knowledge of desktop, laptop, and mobile device support, including both Apple and Windows hardware, plus iOS and Android devices
Experience supporting remote users using tools such as Microsoft Remote Desktop, Zoom, or similar platforms
Ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues independently

Language Requirements

Fluent in English and Dutch (both written and spoken)
