A fast-growing healthcare and pharmaceutical organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and scale the HR function across a highly regulated operational environment. This company specializes in compounding pharmacy and healthcare services, supporting clinical, operational, and quality-driven teams in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate is a strategic HR leader who can operate both at the executive level and in day-to-day HR operations. This role will partner closely with leadership to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead and execute HR strategy aligned with company growth and operational goals
Oversee talent acquisition for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, sterile compounding teams, and corporate staff
Drive employee relations, performance management, and leadership development initiatives
Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and regulatory standards
Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning and organizational design
Manage compensation structures, benefits administration, HR operations, and vendor relationships
Lead and mentor the HR team across recruiting, benefits, and HR management functions
Champion culture, engagement, retention, and internal communication strategies

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
Background in healthcare, pharmacy, biotech, or another highly regulated industry
Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
Experience supporting licensed professionals and operational teams
Proven ability to build HR infrastructure in a growing organization
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Preferred / Nice to Have:

Master’s degree
Experience within sterile compounding or pharmacy environments
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications
Familiarity with FDA guidance, USP standards, and pharmacy board regulations
