- Assist with payroll preparation by validating employee changes, deductions, timekeeping information, bonuses, reimbursements, and other payroll inputs.
- Review payroll reports, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate corrections with Finance and the payroll provider.
- Maintain accurate employee records, organizational information, and HR data within the HRIS.
- Serve as a trusted first point of contact for employee questions involving benefits, payroll, leave, policies, and workplace practices.
- Support employee-relations matters, investigations, performance documentation, and corrective-action processes in partnership with HR leadership.
- Administer employee leaves, workplace accommodations, and workers’ compensation processes.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, I-9, EEO, and applicable Texas employment regulations.
- Support EEO, OFCCP, VEVRAA, Section 503, and other reporting or audit requirements when applicable.
- Maintain employee policies, handbooks, standard operating procedures, and required workplace notices.
- Conduct regular audits of employee files, benefit records, payroll information, and HR-system data.
- Prepare HR reports and identify trends, risks, or process improvements.
- Support employee-engagement activities and other cross-functional HR initiatives as the company grows.
