Your Mission
The on-site
IT Support Engineer is the first point of contact for all internal IT incidents at HCME. The role is responsible for receiving, triaging and routes non-WPS incidents directly to the appropriate IT team, and for directly handling and escalating incidents and requests within the scope of Workplace Services. For WPS tickets, the IT Support Engineer remains the primary contact for the end user throughout the entire process. The role also provides dedicated support for IT devices used within the OT environment and delivers priority support to VIP users, always with a focus on user experience and operational continuity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the on-site single point of contact for all internal IT incidents received via phone or walk-ins, ensuring every call is handled professionally and routed to the right team without delay.
- Remaining the primary contact for the end user throughout the full lifecycle of any WPS incident and requests, even when escalated to L2 or L3.
- Delivering customer focused, professional, prompt and effective first-line IT support to all HCME employees.
- Providing dedicated IT support for devices used in the OT environment, with appropriate urgency and prioritization.
- Delivering priority support to VIP users, ensuring a seamless and professional experience at all times.
- Maintaining accurate ticket administration and contributing to a well-organised, knowledge-rich support environment.
- Handles joiner, mover and leaver processes: provisioning devices and accounts, onboarding new employees and decommissioning leavers.
- Prepares, configures and deploys laptops, smartphones, tablets (iOS, Android, Windows) and other workplace devices for end users.
- Performs on-site support at the Amsterdam office and, when required, at other HCME locations in scope.
- Striving for continuous improvement of the end user experience and first-line support quality.
What You Bring
- 1+ year of experience in a similar role.
- Very good communication skills with a strong customer focus and a patient, approachable manner.
- Proactive way of working, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to stay connected with all stakeholders and communicate clearly on ticket status and resolutions.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic organisation where processes are still being built.
- Experience in an IT first-line support or helpdesk role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Is up to date with the latest developments in modern workplace technology and brings a genuine interest in continuous improvement.
- Experienced in delivering high quality workplace services, including Microsoft Intune, M365, Windows endpoint support and mobile device management (iOS, Android, Windows tablets).
- Dutch and English language skills are required.

- Compensation built of a yearly gross salary between 49.000 euros and 70.000 euros (including holiday allowance and based on experience)
