Location: Remote through Q1 2027 (Candidates must reside near Irvine, CA; Portland, OR; or Renton, WA for future hybrid return-to-office requirements)
Duration: contract with potential to extend or convert
Pay: $60-65/hr.

Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic advisor to executive and senior leaders. This role partners closely with business leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals while supporting talent initiatives, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership development.
This is a highly consultative individual contributor position focused on driving business outcomes through people. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, enjoys influencing without direct authority, and is comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with executives and business leaders to develop and implement strategic HR solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, change management, succession planning, and talent development.
- Coach leaders to strengthen people leadership capabilities and improve team performance.
- Lead HR initiatives and projects from planning through implementation.
- Serve as the bridge between HR and business leaders, ensuring consistent communication and alignment across teams.
- Utilize workforce data and analytics to support business decisions and identify trends.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and Shared Services to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
- Champion organizational culture and employee experience initiatives.
- Consult on operational strategies that improve business performance through effective people practices.
- Partner with Employee Relations and HR specialists, as needed, to address employee and labor relations matters, mitigate risk, and support compliance with applicable labor agreements.
- Build strong relationships across HR teams to ensure consistency, collaboration, and shared best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner capacity.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and executives.
- Strong background in organizational development, change management, talent management, and workforce planning.
- Experience leading strategic HR initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Excellent consulting, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Comfortable working in environments with ambiguity, change, and evolving priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or other senior HR certification.
- Experience supporting healthcare organizations, medical groups, or clinicians.
- Experience with labor relations, grievances, or unionized environments.
