Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist with Machine Learning experience, ideally hands-on experience, for a fraud detection modelling project
The Data Scientist will be responsible for:
- Support the data collection process by partnering with the data management team to assess data adequacy
- Design, develop, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models for financial and economic crime
- Advise senior management on key impediments and potential solutions
The Data Scientist will ideally have the following skills:
- Master’s in Data Science in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years applying ML to large datasets with production deployments you can speak to (SLA, latency, monitoring, retraining).
- Strong Python, SQL, and Spark skills; experience with Databricks and Azure DevOps (or equivalent cloud-based ML tooling).
- Solid understanding of model monitoring and data quality
- Proven ability to conduct stakeholder discovery and turn business problems into measurable ML deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable working in Agile/SCRUM teams.
