Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in The Netherlands (multiple locations possible, HQ in Beilen). This role is responsible for developing and managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting CAPE Holland’s piling solutions in target markets. Day-to-day tasks include leading sales presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with technical and operations teams to ensure client requirements are met. The Sales Manager will monitor market trends, maintain a structured sales pipeline, and report on performance and forecasts to leadership. This position also involves representing the company at industry events and collaborating on marketing and business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and account management skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and contract negotiation.
- Experience in offshore wind, offshore construction, offshore foundations or related services.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with confidence in engaging stakeholders at different levels.
- Solid business acumen, including basic financial understanding and the ability to interpret commercial opportunities and risks.
- Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Comfort working with technical teams and understanding technical specifications and project requirements.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client visits, site meetings, and industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch or other relevant languages is an advantage.
