We’re looking for an HR Generalist to join our client’s team to play a key role in supporting people, processes, and continued growth. This role manages key aspects of the employee lifecycle while partnering with internal leaders, external vendors, and staffing partners to ensure an efficient and positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule through the designated payroll system or platform
- Review timekeeping records, identify discrepancies, and ensure payroll data accuracy prior to processing
- Maintain payroll records and generate payroll-related, routine, and ad hoc HR reports
- Track employee data, including PTO, leave balances, and employment changes
- Assist with compliance reporting and HR documentation requirements
- Support benefits administration and annual enrollment activities
- Manage onboarding documentation, including employment paperwork and required compliance forms
- Coordinate new hire setup within HRIS, payroll, and related systems
- Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth transition into the organization
- Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume review, interview coordination, and offer management
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings in alignment with company policies
- Maintain applicant tracking records and ensure recruiting data remains accurate and up to date
- Process employee changes and terminations while ensuring documentation and records are completed accurately
- Assist employees with HR system questions and general onboarding or employment-related needs
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- HR certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or payroll-related certification preferred
- 3+ years of human resources experience with exposure to payroll and recruiting responsibilities
- Knowledge of employment documentation requirements, including I-9 compliance
- Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
- Experience processing payroll and working with payroll and/or HR information systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Compensation & Benefits
- The targeted salary range for this position is $55-65K
