We're looking for a Junior IT Support Engineer to strengthen our IT team in Rheden, the Netherlands.
In this role, you'll support colleagues across multiple international locations, helping to ensure our IT environment is secure, reliable, and ready to support our growing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a few years of IT support experience who wants to broaden their technical skills in Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, networking, and infrastructure while working in an international environment.
What you'll do
As our Junior IT Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing first- and second-line support to our end users and contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT services.
Your responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Managing and resolving IT incidents while ensuring proper documentation.
- Installing, configuring, and deploying laptops and desktop systems.
- Supporting Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Managing users and permissions in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
- Supporting endpoint management using Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
- Assisting with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Supporting Windows Server infrastructure, VMware, storage, backups, and firewalls.
- Helping maintain LAN/WAN networks and IT infrastructure.
- Collaborating with colleagues and external partners to deliver high-quality IT services.
- Contributing to IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we're looking for
You are someone who enjoys helping people, likes solving problems, and is eager to keep learning.
You'll ideally bring:
- A college degree in IT (or equivalent experience).
- Approximately 2+ years of experience in an IT support role.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
- Experience with Intune and/or SCCM.
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN).
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments.
- Exposure to Azure and/or AWS is an advantage.
- Experience working within an ITIL environment is a plus.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Network+, or CCNA are welcome but not required.
