Job Title: Deskside Technician – End User Computing (EUC)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Deskside Technician – End User Computing (EUC) to join one of our end-client's team in Venlo. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of end-user computing equipment and peripheral devices at our corporate locations.
You will work on assignments of varied scope, exercising judgment under general supervision while following established practices and policies. This role also serves as a key liaison between customers, internal departments, and technical teams to ensure effective problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical and operational support to authorized users, ensuring compliance with defined SLAs.
- Ticketing Systems i.e. ServiceNow, Jira etc.
- Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems related to EUC equipment.
- Perform proactive and reactive troubleshooting to identify root causes and prevent recurring issues.
- Assist users with network connectivity, including LAN, WAN, printing, and file services access.
- Install, upgrade, maintain, and repair desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
- Support and maintain mobile devices and mobile computing platforms.
- Deliver break/fix support, including replacement of non-warranty assets.
- Configure and support network printers and scanners (IP configuration, TCP/IP connections).
- Provide warranty and maintenance support for printing and scanning devices.
- Deliver VIP support for end-user equipment (desktops, mobile devices, video systems, docking stations, communication devices, etc.).
- Create, modify, and remove printer configurations and queues as per requests and SLAs.
- Maintain accurate records using ticketing and problem management systems.
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide regular feedback on customer requirements and maintain effective communication with internal teams.
Required Experience & Technical Skills
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in EUC support.
- Strong knowledge of imaging tools (e.g., Ghost, MDT).
- Experience with data backup and recovery tools (e.g., USMT).
- Proven experience installing, upgrading, and migrating Windows 7/10 environments.
- Experience deploying Windows in large enterprise environments.
Technical Skills:
- Hardware and software configuration.
- Network connectivity setup and troubleshooting.
- User access and resource configuration.
- Mobile computing configuration and support.
- System monitoring and maintenance (Windows environments).
- Backup and recovery configuration.
Language Requirements
- Dutch: C2 (Native or fluent professional proficiency)
- English: C2 (Native or fluent professional proficiency)
