PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Marketing Manager BNB is responsible for driving product portfolio management strategy and marketing communications strategy in the BNB region.
Working closely with the BNB team, especially with BNB product/business development management and the European marketing team, the role plays a critical part in shaping the future fit product portfolio and related marketing communications while ensuring its alignment with both local market needs and global business objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Portfolio Management
- Coordinate the BNB portfolio and future offerings of UPL in BNB region and lead the portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with local market needs and global priorities.
- Coordinate and support Long Range Planning process.
- Identify market opportunities, conduct evaluations, and develop business cases to drive growth.
- Deliver portfolio rejuvenation through innovation by defining, prioritizing, and supporting new projects.
- Drive successful new product introductions (NPLs).
2. Marketing Communications
- Develop and implement the marketing strategy for the BNB region in alignment with regional and national priorities.
- Plan and manage the marketing communications budget for the BNB region, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve set targets.
- Lead execution of various marketing communication activities for various channels e.g. websites, social media, platforms, mailings, advertisements etc.
- Represent UPL BNB while fostering relationships.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agrobusiness, Agronomy, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of marketing experience in agrochemical business.
- Knowledge & Insight in the European Crop Protection Market.
- Proven experience in strategic marketing and cross-country/regional marketing roles.
- Autonomy in day-to-day activities and good communication skills.
- Customer-orientated approach & team player.
