As Sales Manager Europe at Martens United Brands, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across key European markets. You will build and expand strong relationships with distributors, retailers and key accounts, while identifying new business opportunities to further strengthen our position across Europe.
In this role, you operate at a senior level within an international context, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance and Trade Marketing to ensure excellent execution in market.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive volume growth, profitability and market share across Europe
- Build, manage and expand a strong network of distributors, retailers and key customers
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, distribution agreements and promotional activities
- Ensure consistent execution of key commercial levers such as pricing, distribution and product rotation
- Monitor performance, analyse sales results and market trends, and adjust plans where needed
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment, product availability and strong market activation
- Provide accurate forecasts, reports and market insights
- Manage and further develop key customer relationships at senior level
- Travel regularly across Europe (approx. 25–40%)

Candidate profile
- 8+ years of relevant experience in international/export sales, preferably within FMCG or beverages
- Proven experience working with distributors and retail channels (hard discount experience is a strong plus)
- Experience in the beer or beverage industry is a plus
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on and results-driven mindset
- Skilled in stakeholder management and relationship building at multiple levels
- Fluent in English, Italian is a strong plus, Spanish and/or French are additional advantages
