The Human Resource Assistant provides support to the Human Resources manager/department and assist with employees on personnel matters. The position also provide administrative support to other members of management.
Essential Functions

· Perform customer service functions by relaying employee requests and questions.
· Assist with the completion of new hire paperwork, including proper I-9 documentation.
· Assist with benefit enrollment for new employees.
· Assist with the processing of employee change requests and status changes.
· Assist with the recruitment and interview process.
· Assist other departments with administrative tasks when needed.
· Assist with FMLA and disability processes.
· Maintain and update several Excel reports.
· Provide administrative support to other departments.
· Make photocopies, fax documents and perform other clerical functions.
· File documents into appropriate employee files as requested.
· Prepare new employee supervisory files as requested.
· Implement departmental policies, procedures and service standards in conjunction with management.
· Handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
· Backup receptionist for lunches, breaks, and absences.
· Perform other incidental and related duties as required or assigned.
· Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Human Resources or related Human Resources work experience.
· 2 + years’ related experience directly within a Human Resources’ department.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Salary Range - $20-$25 an hour.
This is an in-office Monday through Friday position located in Katy, Texas.
