Description
Role Purpose
The Head of Finance will oversee financial strategy, planning, and governance for the European operations, ensuring financial health, compliance, and alignment with global financial standards. The role will act as a key business partner to senior leadership and play a critical role in supporting the company's continued growth and transformation across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting.
- Manage accounting, reporting, and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
- Partner with business leaders to support strategic decision-making and performance management.
- Establish and strengthen internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Oversee cash flow management, capital allocation, and investment evaluation.
- Coordinate with global headquarters on financial consolidation and reporting.
- Ensure tax compliance across multiple European jurisdictions.
- Support M&A integration activities, business expansion initiatives, and organizational transformation projects where applicable.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred).
- 12-15+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and European financial regulations.
- Proven experience within multinational and matrix organizations.
- Strategic mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Background
- Experience in manufacturing, energy, industrial, infrastructure, or capital-intensive sectors.
- Exposure to multinational operations with complex legal entity structures.
- Experience supporting business scaling, transformation, greenfield investments, or large capital projects.
- Familiarity with project finance, asset-heavy environments, and cross-border reporting structures.
- Experience working with both operational and investment-driven business models.
