Position: IDC Technician (Data Center Operations)
Location: Koolhovenlaan 35‑45, 1119 NB Schiphol‑Rijk
Shift: 24/7 rotational shifts ( 7×24 as required)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site operations and maintenance in the Data Center (IDC) environment based on client requirements
- Respond to incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution in line with SLA targets
- Monitor data center environment and systems, proactively identify risks, and perform routine inspections
- Handle emergency incidents following established EOP procedures, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation
- Use ticketing systems to manage tasks and follow SOP workflows with high accuracy and compliance
- Support installation, racking, cabling, and maintenance of IT equipment (servers, switches, etc.)
- Assist with on-site support activities, site surveys, and basic infrastructure tasks when required
Requirements
Education
- Diploma or above in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
Experience
- Basic understanding of data center operations or IT infrastructure
- Experience in IT support, hardware maintenance, or data center environment is a plus
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware (servers, network devices, cabling)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and operational processes (SOP/EOP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
